Maintenance of Historical Record of Title Register/Folio
Hi all,
This is KF from the HK Land Registry. We are developing our title registartion system. I'm interested to know how other jurisdictions maintain and keep their historical recods relating to obsolete entries of the title registers/folios. Are these historical records open to public search? How are they maintained? Is there versioning control of each record in respect of time or just a consolidated record of all obsolete entries? Grateful for your replies.
Reagrds,

KF,
It sounds like you've got a fairly major task ahead of you !
I'd invite you to read the doco here:
http://www.ntlis.nt.gov.au/forum/ntlis_documents/ILIS
and direct any specific questions to ILIS Support at ilis.support@nt.gov.au
To answer your question above however, yes historic titles are available to registered users of our titling system (ILIS, Integrated Land Information System), and they come complete with all details including date and value of transfer.
