ArcGIS 9.2
ECW PLUG-IN FOR ARGIS 9.2
Currently ER Mapper has not released an ECW Plug-in that is compatible with ArcGIS 9.2.
ArcGIS 9.2 can natively read ECW format but it can not read ERS files.
We will notify Government users when ER Mapper release a compatible plug-in
MXD FILES IN ARCGIS 9.2
MXD files are not backward compatible. This means that an MXD that was built in ARCGIS 9.2 must first be saved into ArcGIS 9.0/9.1 format if you which to view it in ArcGIS 9.1.
To do this:
Open the File menu
Select Save a copy
Change the Save as type: option at the bottom of the window to say
ArcMap 9.0/9.1 Document (*.mxd)
You should then be able to open the MXD in ArcGIS 9.1
DISTRICTING PLUG-IN FOR ARGIS 9.2
A new version of this plug-in has been released that is compatible with ArcGIS 9.2 (Service Pack 2). Do not install the Districting Plug-in if the ArcGIS Service Pack 2 has not been installed.
This new version has not yet been tested by NT Government so we do not know how it will affect any installations of ESRI products. We are testing it and will release it as an update as soon as our NRETA testers are satisfied with its performance.
