Description
Is a (1:25,000 scale dataset) that details the extent of flooding for a predetermined flooding frequency (usually 1% annual excedance probability), with peak flood height contours, and floodway derived from hydrological/hydraulic modelling using topographical mapping and flood event flow datasets. The mapping dataset is displayed over a topographic/cadastral base and provides a basis for identifying the extent and distribution of peak floodwater levels for the Finnis River.

Data Quality
Lineage:Linework developed by surfacewater engineer using topographic information, flood event flow datasets, hydrological/hydraulic modelling and field investigations. Resultant linework verified by a surfacewater officer then digitally captured using MicroStation as a *.dgn file. Recompiled and updated to GDA94 as part of ongoing GIS Progarm 2004.

Logical Consistency:Good - Dataset consistency has been manually checked and all classified lines/polygons are closed. lines/polygons have been classified for surfacewater height.
Completeness:Judged complete at this stage - spatial and attribute verification of the dataset has been performed. Final mapping product has been produced.
