ILIS contains historical and current data and is maintained as part of the routine administrative processes of the Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Environment, the Office of the Registrar-General and the Office of the Valuer-General. ILIS incorporates information on Land Titles Registration, land valuations, cadastral records including location addresses, land use controls, land development proposals, building proposals, Crown land and lease administration, Government land sales and interests in land. ILIS supplies data to the Land Search and ILIS Maps applications. Valuations data consists of Unimproved Capital Valuations (FV) carried out for statutory purposes and associated land improvements information. In addition, valuations for government asset management are recorded for specific land parcels where the Fair Value is likely to differ from UCV.The data is generally available for distribution within the Northern Territory.
