The depths and elevations of some older wells have been converted from feet to meters.0Data was collated from various sources including petroleum operations records, NTGS records and databases, BMR (Bureau of Mineral Resources) publications, Geoscience Australia datasets and company information. The collated data were first published in MapInfo, ArcGIS and MS excel format in July 2010. Offshore wells, administered by NOPTA, were removed in 2012. Additional onshore wells and amendments to existing details are added routinely.
