Data Quality

Lineage:Polygon boundaries derived from manual interpretation using high resolution aerial photography from Google Earth and World Imagery.
Map polygons collected via geographic information system (ArcGIS Pro 3.5.3).

Positional Accuracy:POLYGON DATA +/- 10 metres. Polygon boundaries digitised on screen directly from digital rectified aerial photographs. Level of accuracy of the initial orthorectified photos +/- 1 metre.

Attribute Accuracy:Digital data is attributed with label. (Land or Water)

Logical Consistency:GIS editing tools were used to rectify all overshoots and undershoots in line work. Polygon topology rules applied are must not overlap, must not have gaps and each polygon has only one label

The mapped land does not distinguish between native vegetation whether intact, modified or entirely removed.

Water The extent of mapped water includes offshore waters and major estuaries, rivers and creeks.
