Rock types with similar aquifer properties were grouped. The boundaries were then modified using water bore information. In certain areas aquifer boundaries were taken from existing groundwater maps. The map unit boundaries polygon collected via geographic Information system (ArcGIS). Core water resources attributes attached to map units boundary with additional attributes unique to individual surveys. The ESRI Geodatabase, MapInfo Table and Google Earth KML derived using FME Workbench. The published map is derived from the ESRI Shape using Microstation Bentley MicroStation Design (V8) software. The core attributes information associated with the groundwater, surface water and water development dataset was derived from the original map's legend and annotations.
