The data compilation process is described in the report, Woltmann 2017, Chapter 7, Assessment methodology. 1 December 2020 - The number of groundwater resource zones were reduced to 112 to consolidate smaller zones within the same groundwater system. The grouping into 11 groundwater systems remain. The process to establish the estimated level of use for each zone was reassessed. The methodology is described in the report, Miles 2020, Appendix A.
