The land resource survey was undertaken in 2002 at a scale of 1:100,000. Fifty three land units have been identified and mapped on the station for the purpose of assisting with land management decision-making on the property. Each land unit is provided with a detailed description in terms of its landform, soil and vegetation characteristics. The report includes the pastoral land management implications of these attributes. Core attributes describing the land units, as defined by this department, were added to the spatial dataset in October 2020. The attribute naming format uses 10 characters with no spaces to be suitable for an ESRI shape-file format. An alias attribute name is applied to an ESRI file geo-database format.
