With the exception of POLY_002, these issues were not corrected as the data was received by various interest holders and the intent behind these spatial configurations is not known. POLY_002 was corrected due to a significant overshoot in the polygon which did not accurately represent the cleared area. Editing the entire dataset without understanding its original purpose could compromise its integrity or meaning. Therefore, the configuration of the dataset has been retained in its original form, and users are advised to apply their own quality checks if topological precision is required for their use. As new data becomes available, communications with interest holders will aim to address these issues and improve consistency and accuracy. Additionally, several polygons and polylines may potentially overlap, this is due to overlapping land clearing purposes. For example, land that was originally cleared for seismic acquisition lines may now partially overlap with an access track or well pad etc. Multipart polygons are also present in the dataset, these gaps in the polygons show areas that were not cleared.
