Coffey Street is named in commemoration of Dennis James Coffey (c1942-1996) Correctional Service Officer, who worked at Berrimah Gaol and Gunn Point Farm. Prior to coming to the Territory, he had worked in the Pentridge Gaol.
Dennis died of cancer at his Moulden home in August 1996, aged 54 years |
