History/Origin	Named after Carolyn Joyce Nolan (nee Williams). Carolyn was born in 1946 and spent her childhood on Marrakai Station which was managed by her parents. She played a minor support role in the iconic movie "Jedda" and was the first person to purchase a block in the "Chin" Subdivision, Eva Valley. Carolyn moved to Eva Valley in 1983 and started working at Batchelor College as a chef, where she worked until she retired. She was actively involved locally in aged care and supported many community events on a voluntary basis. Carolyn passed away in 2006.
