Named after the aboriginal Larrakeyah chief, Mira. Although Surveyor-General Goyder used Mira's name in his report SAPP 31 of 1869, he did not show it on the Square area in SAPP 203 of 1869/70 or SAPP73 of 1870, but it was added subsequently. |
