| History/Origin | Named after Sister Stephanie McNally, a Daughter of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. Sister Stephanie arrived on Bathurst Island in 1947. She also spent time at Port Keats (Wadeye) and Channel Island. She did cooking, sewing, housekeeping and poultry keeping. The theme, Top End Catholic Priests and Religious, was selected through consultation with Larrakia Development Corporation. |
