| History/Origin |
Named after George Abaluk Havelock who was a key operator in the buffalo shooting teams which worked across the Adelaide River plains. He was adopted by the Kungarakany Tribe and his influence and role is evidenced in the Finniss River Land Claim, although he was not a claimant himself. |
