Named after Keith Jessop, who settled in Darwin in the late 1930's. He had many business ventures in Darwin including a tailoring business, grocery store, taxi (first taxi service in Darwin), tin mining, and a crushing business. Keith and his wife, Rae, had three children and nine grandchildren. |
