| History/Origin |
Named after Jack Taylor who came to the Territory in 1946. He worked and managed several stations through the late 40's and throughout the 50's and early 60's including, Stirling, Ooratippra, and Roxburgh Downs stations to name a few. Jack worked for John Fulaton carting cattle and Noel Buntine in 1965 leaving only to return later, based at Katherine and at the roadtrain base at Helen Springs before settling again in Katherine. |
