| History/Origin |
Named after George Rodier who established a photography business with one man, Billy Scott, assisting him. George Rodier lived on the corner of Mitchell Street and Bennett Street and had been ill for several days prior to his death. George apparently had no family in Australia and died aged 64 on 27 December 1934. He is buried at Gardens Cemetery. |
