History/Origin Named after a variety of plant species found in the Greater Darwin area. Grevillea pteridifolia is a hardy feature shrub with silvery green fern like foliage with fine, narrow leaflets. The showy bright orange-golden flowers contain sweet nectar which can be licked or used to make a sweet drink.
