| History/Origin |
Named after Harold and Dorothy Griffiths. Harry Griffiths was born in County Durham, England, in 1895. He migrated to Australia in 1925 and was A.I.F. Chaplain during the 2nd World War serving part of his time in the N.T. He was appointed Director of the Methodist Inland Mission in Alice Springs in 1932, a position he held for over 20 years. |
