| History/Origin |
Named after John Kilgour who joined the Commercial Bank in Darwin in 1901. He was prominent in local affairs, being a member of the Pickwick Club and Secretary of the Palmerston Institute. He was later elected to the first Darwin Town Council in 1915. |
