Named after Robert Price, a teamster and labourer (at 6 shillings per day) who is listed as a member of Surveyor-General Goyder's original Palmerston (now Darwin) survey of 1869. He may have been associated with the Southport survey under Surveyor W Harvey in May 1869. |
