| History/Origin |
Named after STEPHEN Henry Hardy who was one of the early pastoralists in the Top End after Franke Clarke's (Government Surveyor) surveys of 1915/16 were completed. He held Annaburroo Station (PL 2113A) in 1921 of 2.25 sq m and adjoining Grazing Licence No 8 and PL 2367. He was a brother of H F (Fred) Hardy after whom Hardy Road, west of Adelaide River (Town) was named. |
