Data Quality
Lineage:Digital data - source data land use polygons created from existing cadastral and zoning boundaries derived from NT MapNet database & ILIS.
Positional Accuracy:As zoning boundaries are generally based on cadastral boundaries or road centrelines the data is as accurate as the cadastre. Where zoning boundaries deviate from the cadastre, boundaries are based on aerial photography or land unit mapping.
Attribute Accuracy:The attributes are land use zones sourced from Planning Branch, Department of Planning and Infrastructure.
Logical Consistency:Zoning boundaries have been visually verified and tested for internal consistency.
Completeness:Completed for all zoned areas of the Northern Territory.
