Data Quality
Lineage:The boundary extent for each of the water protection areas were created using ArcGIS software with reference to cadastral boundaries, topographic, hydrogeological, surface water and/or catchment datasets. Information about of each protection areas are written in each Water Allocation Plan report.
Positional Accuracy:Data stored in geographic coordinates using horizontal datum GDA94. Topological rule state that Water Protection Areas must be within Water Allocation Plan areas.
Attribute Accuracy:All polygons attributed using the data dictionary as described below.
Logical Consistency: All polygons are closed and labelled using the prescribed data dictionary.

Area value calculated from the geospatial depiction which represents the extent of the protection areas using Albers Equal-Area Conic projection. 10. NOTES Notes (STRING, 254) Internal comments relating to the protection areas not included in the other fields.
