Description
Designated Area (DA) boundary follows the same boundary to that of the Strategic Regional Environmental and Baseline Assessment (SREBA). The DA boundary encapsulates the current geological extents of the Beetaloo Sub-basin.
The DA determines which petroleum interests must pay an uplift factor in addition to annual monitoring and compliance levy as defined in Schedule 4A of the Petroleum Regulations 2020 (Northern Territory).

Lineage:The polygon boundary follows the SREBA boundary (biophysical study area) which was derived from a combination of satellite imagery and photographic interpretation.
