| History/Origin | William C Gosse records this mount on 21 June 1873 as having been named by Ernest Giles. Gosse noted this peak "Crown Hill, composed of coarse granite". It is east of Crown Creek and Crown Well on the Coniston four or five miles north and bears the name applied by Gosse. |
