| History/Origin | Cabbage Gum is the common name for Corymbia grandifolia subsp. Lamprocardia and Corymbia confertiflora. Corymbia grandifolia subsp. Lamprocardia is native to the Kimberley and northwest NT including the Katherine region. Corymbia confertiflora occurs across the top end of WA, NT and QLD. Both are endemic to northern Australia with rough, tessellated bark near the base of the trunk, smooth white to pale grey bark above. |
