History/Origin	This Darwin suburb is based on Holmes Jungle, named after Felix Holmes, a prominent NT citizen in 20s and 30s. Holmes owned a butchery, ice works, cordial factory and power station and ran cattle in the Jungle. The suburb boundary, as approved on 8 March 2007, is deliniated on CP 5076.
