History/Origin	Darwin High School was established in 1956 in temporary facilities adjacent to Darwin Higher Primary School (founded in 1948 on Woods Street). In 1963, the school relocated to its current site at Bullocky Point. Following the 2007 establishment of Darwin Middle School (Years 7-9), Darwin High School transitioned to a senior secondary school. From 2009 to 2025, it operated exclusively for Years 10-12. This period of separation concluded in 2026 with the amalgamation of both institutions into a single secondary school under the Darwin High School name.
