Named after the Ah Mat family, former residents of the pre-war Parap Camp in Stuart Park. Many of the Ah Mat family are still residents of Darwin and have made a name in Territory sport. The Ah Mat family has also been honoured with naming of the Ah Mat Gates at Marrara, by the North Territory Football League. |
