Named after EMMA Lambrick, twin daughter of Lt Edward Dillon and his wife Susan. Married Lt George Lambrick in 1842. Died in 1846 and is the first European woman known to have died at Port Essington during European occupation of 1838-49. A road in Palmerston is already named Lambrick Avenue in commemoration of George Lambrick. |
