BEE, Tom, a survey cadet, who was part of Goyder's No.6 Survey Party led by Mr G G McLachlan. He was George McLachlan's assistant and as McLachlan was working in the area of the creek, he named it after his assistant - hence Bees Creek (originally Bee's Creek). |
