| History/Origin |
Named after Alan Ross who came to Darwin in 1949. Alan was one of the first Taxi Drivers to work in Darwin. Alan worked in the trucking industry for over 50 years, owning many trucks over this time, delivering fuel and goods to remote communities in the northern parts of the Northern Territory. Alan Ross established his own business Alan Ross & Co in the late 1960's. |
