Named after Klaus Eberhard Thorak, a veterinarian with the then Primary Industries Branch who together with his wife and son, died when their light aircraft bound for Dili, Timor, crashed in 26 January 1960. Thorak Road leads to the Thorak Forestry Reserve. |
