| History/Origin | Darwin High School was established in 1956 in makeshift buildings next to Darwin Higher Primary School, which had opened on Woods Street, Darwin, in 1948. In 1963, the school relocated to its current site at Bullocky Point, where it has remained for over 60 years. Since 2009, Darwin High School has operated solely as a senior secondary school for Years 10 to 12. |
